I have had a number of customers ask why the PhP smoketest reports a critical error, but when actually updating to PhP8- nothing reported in phpfatal, and no error on the site. I think this is resulting in users/agents not trusting the smoketest- which will probably be a bigger issue closer to WPE 7.4 EOL
